APPLICATION 04 / Vibration tables

Industrial vibrators for vibration tables.
Tune the table. Control the result.

A vibration table transfers excitation through a platform into a mould or load for controlled compaction. RVS can form part of an engineered table system; performance depends on the table, fixtures and loaded mass. Concrete or refractory trials must establish the required cycle and verify density, trapped air and product quality.

VISUAL USE CASE / PROCESS TABLE

Excite the platform directly.

RVS couples to the table frame so the fixture, payload and operating frequency can be treated as one controlled response system.

Problem
Uneven settling, difficult payloads and unrepeatable table response
RVS role
Generate compact high-frequency excitation through the platform
Target
Repeatable settling, compaction or response testing

The table is part of the resonant system

A vibration table does not perform through force alone. Its mass, frame stiffness, payload, mould position and support conditions shape the response. RESONATOR is selected and positioned around that complete system so frequency and force can be directed toward the actual compaction or settling target.

Typical process challenges

Every installation begins with the actual material, equipment and measurable production problem—not a generic vibrator selection.

01

Uneven response

A table can vibrate strongly while the payload receives inconsistent energy across its surface.

02

Changing payloads

Different moulds, batch masses and materials shift the system response.

03

Over-vibration

Excess amplitude can create segregation, movement or wear without improving the finished result.

ENGINEERING METHOD

How RESONATOR responds

Frequency, force, mounting and timing are treated as one engineered operating system. The final configuration is validated under representative conditions.

  1. 01

    Measure the table

Review dimensions, mass, supports, stiffness, payload range and existing vibrator positions.

  2. 02

    Define the target

Separate compaction, deaeration, settling, alignment and material-flow objectives.

  3. 03

    Tune under load

Evaluate frequency and force with representative moulds or containers on the table.

  4. 04

    Lock the recipe

Create repeatable settings for each validated payload and production cycle.

Potential process outcomes

These are engineering objectives, not automatic guarantees. Performance depends on the material, structure, operating point and validation method.

01

More uniform energy

A tuned layout supports better distribution of vibration across the working surface.

02

Repeatable cycles

Defined settings reduce trial-and-error between batches and operators.

03

Lower unnecessary motion

High frequency with low amplitude focuses on process response rather than visible shaking.

System fit

Choose the energy-transfer route that fits the process environment and access point.

01

Stationary

Primary choice for direct mounting to the table frame or engineered excitation points.

02

Immersible

Can complement the table where direct vibration inside the processed material is justified.

03

Custom

Multi-vibrator layouts, control zones and structural adaptation for large or specialized tables.

Questions about this application

Does RESONATOR supply vibration tables or excitation systems?

RVS is the stationary resonance device used to excite a table or frame. Custom vibrating-table integration can be assessed through RVC engineering; the platform, fixture, payload and isolation must be designed as one system.

How is a vibrating compaction table evaluated?

Compare settling, air release, cycle time and product consistency at representative payloads. Measure the installed vibration response and assess unwanted movement or segregation rather than choosing equipment by nominal force alone.
